My child has been training with Ivan at The Next Pro Academy for the past four years, and the growth we have seen in that time has been incredible. Of course, her basketball skills and understanding of the game have grown significantly, but what stands out most is the belief she now has in herself as a player.

Ivan has an incredible ability to challenge and push athletes while making them feel supported and capable. He recognises their strengths, helps them work through areas for improvement, and creates an environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes, learning and backing themselves.

The impact he has had on my child goes far beyond basketball skills. Her growth in confidence, resilience and self-belief has been incredible to watch. We would highly recommend him to any young athlete.

My son started basketball mid season on a team of children that were already confident players. At the time he could not catch the ball, dribble or pass. We decided to seek extra training through Ivan Harris at The Next Pro Academy.

Ivan got right to work on the foundations of basketball — he saw my son was fast & athletic & used these skills to tailor training sessions for him. Within 3 weeks my son had learned basic ball handling skills & was implementing these into the games. Everyone was shocked with his improvement. Fast forward to now & my son is a skilled & confident basketball player who has won awards & played at a rep level.

Ivan is not just a coach, he is a positive role model for my son — often teaching him the importance of a healthy lifestyle, nutrition & integrity. I cannot thank Ivan enough for all his dedicated work.

My son has been training with Ivan, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Ivan is not only an excellent basketball coach with a great knowledge of the game, but he also knows how to bring out the best in young players.

What really stands out is the confidence Ivan builds in the kids. He teaches them to believe in themselves, work hard, stay disciplined and not be afraid to make mistakes. His coaching goes beyond basketball — he is helping develop character, resilience and a positive mindset.

My son genuinely looks forward to every session, and we can see how much he is growing both as a player and as a young person. We highly recommend Ivan and The Next Pro Academy to any young player looking to improve their basketball skills, confidence and love for the game.

Training with Coach Ivan Harris at The Next Pro Academy has been a fantastic experience. What I appreciate most about his coaching is the strong focus he puts on shooting accuracy and consistency, while also developing speed, agility and physical fitness.

His training sessions are structured, challenging and focused on building skills that translate directly into games. He pays close attention to technique and repetition, helping players become more confident and consistent with their shooting.

Coach Ivan's approach is not just about basketball skills — he pushes players to become fitter, faster, more disciplined and mentally stronger. I would highly recommend him to any young player looking to take their game to the next level.

Lincoln has been training with Ivan from The Next Pro Academy for around a year and a half, and the impact Ivan has had on him has been incredible.

When Lincoln first started, Ivan helped him develop the fundamentals of basketball, teaching him the basic skills and, just as importantly, how to understand and enjoy the game. Over time, Ivan has helped Lincoln build not only his basketball ability but also his confidence and belief in himself.

What makes Ivan such a special coach is the patience, understanding and genuine care he shows towards Lincoln. Ivan has taken the time to understand Lincoln as an individual, including his ASD, and has always adapted his approach to help Lincoln feel comfortable, supported and capable.

Honestly, without Ivan’s guidance and encouragement, I don’t think Lincoln would be playing basketball on a team today. Seeing how far he has come over the past year and a half has been amazing, and Ivan has played a huge part in that journey.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Ivan has done for Lincoln. He hasn’t just helped him become a better basketball player, he has helped him become a more confident kid who believes he belongs on the court.

We couldn’t recommend Ivan and The Next Pro Academy highly enough.

As a parent, you always hope your child finds a great coach with so much knowledge and experience. Thankfully Coach Ivan has been exactly that for our son Bryson. Coach Ivan makes his training sessions fun, safe and exciting and Bryson genuinely looks forward to them.

Bryson has improved in his left side drive, ball handling and foot work but most importantly his confidence. We are so incredibly grateful and blessed for the kindness and care Coach Ivan pours into these training sessions.
